Major Accomplishments (under my leadership):

Raised more than $1 million in private and grant funds in 2002; this increase in fundraising compares to $642,887 raised in 2001 and $467,305 raised in 2000

Coordinated the College’s participation in Virginia’s 2002 General Obligation Bond Referendum, which passed with more than 72 percent of the vote

Wrote the College’s first-ever crisis communications plan (before Sept. 11, 2001), long-range public relations plan and development plan

Redesigned the College’s Web site

Generated and placed record number of print and broadcast stories

Conceptualized new strategy for class schedules, resulting in a savings of more than $100,000
